Presentation types
Individual presentation
The time allotted for individual presentations is 15/20 minutes. 15 minutes after the talks is reserved for questions and discussion. Individual presentations will be grouped around a common theme.
Computers with software enabling the playback of presentations (Windows system) will be available on-site. We encourage you to save your presentation in a .pdf file. Please bring presentations saved on a data carrier (flash drive, portable disk) at least 15 minutes before the start of the session.
Symposium
Symposia are organized in two forms – with or without a discussant. A symposium without a designated discussant consists of talks grouped thematically (15 minutes each, plus an additional 5 minutes for questions/discussion). The second type of symposium groups 15-minute talks (with 5 minutes of question/discussion time), while the remaining time is granted to the discussant.
Computers with software enabling the playback of presentations (Windows system) will be available on-site. We encourage you to save your presentation in a .pdf file. Please bring presentations saved on a data carrier (flash drive, portable disk) at least 15 minutes before the start of the session.
Poster
A poster allows for the presentation of a visual summary of one’s work. The poster’s author will have the opportunity to discuss the research’s objectives, methods, and results directly with the public during a poster walk session.
The maximum poster size is B1 (70 cm x 90 cm) in portrait orientation. Please deliver the posters to the reception in the morning on the day of the presentation.
