Idea of the conference

The idea of the conference

The conference is an opportunity to discuss the conclusions of research and analysis on the psychological aspects of human functioning in the field of the psychology of religion and spirituality in the contemporary world. We want to show the dynamic development of the psychology of religion and spirituality and emphasize the role of basic research conducted from an interdisciplinary perspective. The COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine have increased the sense of fear, uncertainty, and danger. It is reflected in the results of research on the quality of life. For this reason, the issues of clinical psychology and psychiatry, as well as intercultural and indigenous psychology will be an important part of the Conference.

We hope that the Conference will be an opportunity to exchange experiences between researchers and practitioners and will become a forum for searching for practical solutions in the area of help and support. We invite not only psychologists but also psychiatrists, sociologists, educators, theologians, religious scholars, philosophers, cultural scientists, doctors, psychotherapists, and social workers interested in studying the mutual relations between religion, spirituality, health, and social relations.
